Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I read that Sport Chrono replace the 7,000 "soft cut out" with a 7300 "hard cut out".

S-Line, I believe you, I have a friend who said they accelerated to 117 using third before hitting the brakes.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi,
The
Cayman
's top speed at red line in each gear, does anyone know what they are? I know they are different than that of the
Boxster
, especially in lower gears.
Thanks.

I have to say those numbers seem a little wrong to me also - perhaps is the acceleration curve. I'm pretty sure you could hit sixty in first if floored, and just be getting to redline. I'm not saying the rpms should stay there, and I'm not saying that is where the rpm downshift point is. Has anybody pushed it like this yet, or do you think that's crazy? The curve on page 275 of the owners manual is more what I expect - where at about 100 km/h or 62 mph it shows second gear on the acceleration curve.
K-man I really doubt that it will reach 60mph in first gear. Thats supercar status. Plus I wouldnt want it to reach 60 in first, it would really slow the car down.
I read that Sport Chrono replace the 7,000 "soft cut out" with a 7300 "hard cut out". So with momentum you could get it revving a little higher in low gears.
Realize that the speedometer is not perfectly accurate like the tachometer. There has to be some variance in terms of INDICATED speed.
That is interesting, thank you all for the comments. That is one option I wish I would have had, but at the time I did not know what is was or what is was supposed to do.
