Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion

With your kids I would look to a high back booster seat if the youngest is height/weight compliant, I forget the exactly model which is recommended for these but it is a little slimmer than the seat I use.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello I’m looking to buy a 991.2 GT3. Please can I ask do all non bucket passenger seats have iso fix points? And do all cars come with the switch in the glovebox to turn off the air bag? I’ve read some contradicting info online and would like to get confirmation as to whether it’s standard or a paid for option that I need to be looking for in the cars spec when buying. My children are 4 and 7. What is the best forward facing seat option to use that doesn’t damage the seat? Thanks

POST 2Original post

Buy another car or accept that your car seats will leave marks.

POST 3Original post

Isofix and the switch are a cost option. Switch can be retrofitted on older cars…no idea on 991.2. You’ll do very well to find one with Isofix…good luck.

POST 4Original post

I have a 991.1 with comfort seats. I have a Halfords Group 2 non-isofix seat that is good for up to 7yo. With your kids I would look to a high back booster seat if the youngest is height/weight compliant, I forget the exactly model which is recommended for these but it is a little slimmer than the seat I use. This said, the Halfords seat fits perfectly in the comfort seats and doesn't leave a mark, believe me when I say I am fussy about this. Reference airbag deactivation. This is only really necessary when fitting a rear facing seat. For forward facing just push the seat back as far as you can so you clear the airbag's range. It's not like you have rear leg room to consider HTH
