Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

 Just back from a summer evening blast and coolant level warning light came on..leaking coolant from the drivers side of the front intakes..... Gonna take a look in the morning.. Anyone else had this?

POST 4Original post

It is very common. The rads are set low and unprotected and receive stone chips which will kill them dead. They also helpfully collect road debris (dirt, stones, leaves, dead insects, road salt, rubbish, fag butts etc). If you don't clean this away using your hands or vacuum cleaner etc, the debris+water (particularly salt and rotting leaves and insects) corrodes the matrix. This can take as little as 24 months if you don't take care of the car. http://911uk.com/viewtopic.php?t=51912
