I was watching this with interest (the build) and i wondered why they used 991 rear lights, guess it's something to do with the styling but would it have looked more period correct by using 997 rear lights i wonder?

Mmmm, mate and I have just acquired a couple of early 986s from auction, one to do a Boxrod and the other to part out.  Could be a plan instead of a Boxrod I wonder???

Nope... I think the concept is cool, and they got close, but that roof line just doesn't sweep down enough to the rear like it probably should! Granted its modelled on recent year design language, I think they really should have taken that cue. I think it looks more like a 924 DP cargo homage tbh

I have to say, it’s ok - but not inspired to go out and build one. would prefer a modified Cayman with big wings etc. Each to their own I guess
