Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Hello, I have 07 Cayman with 5 speed and its my daily driver and I drive on the freeway most of the time and I have 61K miles on the car and the clutch seems to be needing adjusting and I would like to know how to do that on the cayman , so if any one could guide me on how to do it I would truly appricate it. Thank you, Richard

POST 2Original post

+1 Does anyone know if these clutches are even adjustable?

POST 3Original post

+2 I do not think there is a way to adjust the clutch. If it has started slipping it is time to look at a new clutch.

POST 4Original post

These clutches are hydraulic and they are not adjustable. There is no cable to tweak. The fluid should be flushed when you flush your brake fluid. If there are bubbles in the fluid, you can have problems, just like when there are bubbles in the brake lines. Richard, you say your clutch seems to need adjusting. Could you describe the symptoms in more detail? Perhaps someone will be able to tell what's wrong. How many miles on your car?

POST 5Original post

I have 62K on it and I guess its time for me to change it, so thank you for all the input. Thanks,
