This is not a probability of success.

The only slight issue was the one of the clips at the top comes close to the roof, so be careful not to scratch, Once fitted tho shouldn't have to take it out too much.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Recently I was looking everywhere for information about a car seat for a 1 year old that works well in the back of a 996 coupe, and lots of the info is outdated, or the products discontinued so I'm posting my conclusion incase it helps anyone. I can report the best solution I found was the maxi cosi tobi -after reading a thread recommending it for a 997 on here. Once fitted really feels very secure, and no mashing of the seatbelt with some clever tighteners. The only slight issue was the one of the clips at the top comes close to the roof, so be careful not to scratch, Once fitted tho shouldn't have to take it out too much. Havent tried without the seat base in, but I'm thinking this will rectify this slight height issue, so I'll give that a whirl. Leg room for the misses is pretty good too, so the 911 can go back to being the main car as it should be Halfords was the cheapest place I found so I ordered it off t'interweb. As mothercare had only boring black at full price when i tried the fitting. Halfords Website Hope this helps others as it was a right pain to keep trying seats or persuade the misses it was a family motor especially following the recent dramas of IMS bearing failure!

Hi, which one did you get - as i tried one from Halfords - had to hand back as the back of the booster seat didn't go to the back of the rear seat - there was approx 3 inch gap - or is this the way it is supposed to be? :?:
