Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Its a huge job to fit the genuine lid like i have.It envolves rear screen out and cuting out the rear screen support panel and welding in a replacement panel £280 for the panel alone. Then new hindges and yes alot of messing around to get the air box in.I finaly gave up and fitted a k&n induction kit.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Turbo lid conversion Hi Marky T i would not reconmend you try this unless you have got alot of experience. I think you would do better fitting a quality after market if thats the look you are after. I will send photos if you require them.

POST 7Original post

Looks very well. Lovin the boot, please post pic's of the fitting - :thumb: Welcome to 911uk - :bye:

POST 8Original post

Each to his own and I do have a mod addiction myself but I much prefer the C4S with an unmolested full width reflector. :dont know:

POST 10Original post

+1 I have to give credit for the op taking on what most assume as a straight forward lid change. At least the hi-level brake light has gone, not simply duplicated. If that's what you like, then fair play to anyone :thumb:
