If I wanted to use the Bose speakers with this replacement head unit, like all other replacement head units, would I would have to buy the $500 MOST adapter?

Has anyone tried the chinese OEM replica PCM found here, or one like it: Monitor DVD Radio Player Navigation Navi GPS for Porsche 911 997 Boxter Cayman | eBay My question is will this work as a CDR-30 replacement with Bose speakers (987.2)? If I wanted to use the Bose speakers with this replacement head unit, like all other replacement head units, would I would have to buy the $500 MOST adapter? $3k for an actual PCM system is just bonkers... :crazy:

I know of a 2009 owner who has it installed, but had base audio (not Bose). He says it works much better than CDR-30. I would imagine that the black trim would match the 987.2 interior better than the 987.1

I just read the description and it states Note: it does not support BOSE audio system; Please tell us if your car comes with optical fiber amplifier when placing the order

I should have been more specific. I was asking for an individual with personal experience installing one of these units and how he got it working with the OEM Bose speakers.
