I had pulled and tested ~15 fuses before finding what I thought to be the best one, and went to start the car.

Cranking but won't start up normally - RESOLVED Hi Guys, RESOLVED. See post #7. Here's a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-sinEqVkiI I was installing my dash cam this afternoon and now the car won't stay on. I was hard-wiring the camera using a fuse. I had pulled and tested ~15 fuses before finding what I thought to be the best one, and went to start the car. Symptoms: Car cranks Car turns over and fires momentarily ..then sputters and dies (see the above video) Dash says PSM failure So far I have tried: Completely uninstalled the dash cam. Checked all the fuses I touched. Confirmed that all slots have correct amperage fuses. Unhooked battery for 20 seconds, reattached. Used a portable battery to "jump" the car if the car even needed it, with the same results. I'm at a loss. Any ideas?

It's solid. I was carefully removing the trim & cover as well. I loosened a ground bolt for the camera, but that is now tight again. Still no luck...

you have a obdII reader..and a code? i think there are other fuses boxes on the 987..not just one.. have you checked there? lemon

I have a generic OBDII reader, which does not see any codes. I'll have to check the other fuse box.

RESOLVED. Blown Fuel Pump fuse. To the naked eye the fuse looked fine, but after purchasing a fuse tester, it had failed. It must have given way when I pulled it out to attach the dash cam power. Thanks guys!
