Just that ive got something in mind and need to find a spare set but none seem to come with a slot on the underside in order to allow the pipe to be moved backwards/forwards.

About to take delivery of my Oettle exhaust and quite fancied getting rid of the puney little std C4 exhaust tips, only questions is for what ? I dont want to pay almost as much as the exhausts for a set of tips, seems ludicrous ! but what are my options, ive found two that float my boat so to speak ones 90 plus del and ones 149 plus del, still a lot for a pair of tips, but do want a change..

I think you are thinking of the 997s.
996 GT3 tips are identical/interchangeable and in the same positions left and right in the respective PU. (996.1 and 996.2 may not be interchangeable with each other)
I got the figure 8 ones in the first pic, first post, supplied and fitted by main dealer who price-matched Design 911's £350+VAT (supply only). And they stole my originals FOC.
Hi all,
Thanks for those who responded to my intial query, turns out ive got RS tail pipes and now trying to figure out if i have a complete RS exhaust from mani back or just the tips are compatible with a 'normal' GT3 exhaust and therefore just a cosmetic mod.
Anyone got any ideas as speaking to Porsche, the GT3 exhaust is different to the RS and theyve never heard or been asked to put the RS tips on a GT3 system. :?:
