Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Outcome without a verified action link

The Bose thing is just a speaker/amp package with no change to the head unit.

No unique explicit quoted action; no causal link assigned

POST 1Original post

I recently bought a 2007 Cayman S with Bose. How do I know which radio I have? CDR 24 or one that is upgraded to PCM2?

POST 2Original post

Do you have nav? Not sure about 2007 but in current model, nav would mean you have PCM. In my 2014, I have Bose, but no PCM.

POST 3Original post

You might be better starting with the question "Which Cayman do i have?" as you posted in the 981 section...

POST 4Original post

If you have a large screen-like display it's PCM, otherwise it's CDR-24. The Bose thing is just a speaker/amp package with no change to the head unit.
