Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Suggestion

Do any of you know whether this means a new PCM unit (ouch!!!) or whether the "radio" part plugs in to the PCM and can be replaced ( hopefully a smaller ouch) - thanks - Andrew

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

I have a 2006 Boxster with PCM sat nav etc. The Radio has stopped working and the PCM shows no radio station tuned in ( the station search is greyed out, the stored stations do not connect) the dashboard display shows radio tuned to 0hz and does not pick up the programmed station) the CD player still plays CDs - or it shows the playing track information - but no sound comes out, the sat nav works but only gives visual instructions. The sat nav is not receiving traffic updates. I am assuming that the radio tuner has died, can anyone advise. Do any of you know whether this means a new PCM unit (ouch!!!) or whether the "radio" part plugs in to the PCM and can be replaced ( hopefully a smaller ouch) - thanks - Andrew

POST 3Original post

Thank you for the advice. I tried the switching on and off sequencing but that was not successful. The radio does not seem to be able to find radio stations - rather than I cannot hear what it is playing - Andrew
