First is a massive coolant leak (afraid it’s a water pump) and the other is a passenger window (probably a regulator or motor, switch is OK).

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

New to the forum. Have a 2001 Boxster S with 2 issues. First is a massive coolant leak (afraid it’s a water pump) and the other is a passenger window (probably a regulator or motor, switch is OK). I’m looking for someone in the Fort Smith AR area that works on Boxsters. I’d like to get it back on the road before too long but I don’t have the time to fix it myself. Thanks

POST 2Original post

I don't know Ft Smith well, but if you can get it to Tulsa I'd recommend Rennsport Werkstatt. I do all my own work now, but a few years ago had them do an IMS bearing and some other work and trust them to do well. For my VW Touareg TDI I've used the Crain dealership in Fayetteville and I'd trust them to do good work on a 986. Either one won't be cheap, but will do it right.
