Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Leading evidence: 'Install oem' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Install oem' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

My '02 C2 has a dealer installed OEM fixed rear spoiler(not gt3 aerokit style). According to Porsche's Tequipment book the kit should come with a front lip spoiler as well. Does anyone have a picture of what the lip spoiler is supposed to look like? Is it really imortant for aerodynamics?
Thanks for any help.
Early 02 models could have been equiped with a small fixed rear wing only. The Aerokit II with the front clip and chin spoiler did not become available till later.
I know that my standard front clip for my 99 model did not come with a chin spoiler.

My 02 C4 Cab was an early build and I ordered it with an aerokit. It came with rear spoiler, flared rockers but no chin as you suggested. However, I read somewhere that Porsche claimed that there was something under the car and therefore it achieved the same effect. I don't recall where I read it, but I remember that's basically what it said.
I've since put the turbo nose on mine, so I'm just curious..is the chin a tequipment or "standard" option. I never knew they were available for 02. (duh)
Thanks guys. I have the same spoiler as Don. I had noticed that there is a small black plastic extension attached to the bottom of the front facia about 1ft back from the very front. I wasn't sure if this was standard undertray management or the afformentioned lip spoiler. Well, I was at the dealer today(like twice a week since I got the car asking questions, buying clothes and accesories and just having fun) and I saw 996s with rear spoiler and without. The ones without did not have the black extension, so I am sure that is what I was looking for. Thank you for your responses. This was my first topic and I was disapointed when no one responded at first. I love my freekin car. It is the best engineered machine I have ever seen or driven. And I am finding out that this "club" is pretty cool, too.
