Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Leading evidence: 'Install on our project' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Install on our project' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Chillipepper - you may want to make sure you have an engine protection plate installed over your oil pan before experimenting with lower ride heights.

I run 2004 GT3 ride heights measured from the measuring points under the vehicle (128 mm rear and 118 mm front).
Replace can be done while the vehicle is moving, up

Suggestion
Generally, the MK2 GT3 front bumper isn't as low as the MK1 GT3's so he might be ok running GT3 settings, however I do concur on the engine protection in the back.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Can some of you with 18" wheels and coilovers with lower ride profiles comment on what you have for ride height, ground up to fender lip font and rear? I am trying to get an idea of where to setup my car during setting the corner weights and aligning.
Thanks.
One of the biggest fears and worries people have when thinking about lowering their car is whether or not they are going to scrape on steep inclines or bumps. This is 100% justifiable, as many owners want to lower their car for handling and appearance, but also don't want to destroy the bottom of their car from going over a harsh speed bump. That fear can be nearly eliminated with a
KW HLS Lift Kit
.
The KW HLS (hydraulic lift system) provides additional road clearance for lowered vehicles. When expanded, a range of 30mm to 45mm of lift is produced, thereby helping sport cars avoid road clearance difficulties like speed bumps, road constructions etc.
To put it simply, this kit gives you the ability to temporarily lift the front end(or front/rear on some kits) to protect that carbon fiber front lip you just spent 1200 on as you are pulling in to your driveway.
We had this kit installed on our Project
997.2tt
back in the day. Even in Arizona, where most of the roads are as flat as our fresh tortillas, we still used this on an almost daily basis. Here is a video of ours being installed and in action...

Chillipepper - you may want to make sure you have an engine protection plate installed over your oil pan before experimenting with lower ride heights. Many have learned the hard way just how low too low can be. There are also boomerangs for under the chin spoiler that some have found necessary. For starters you will want to evaluate any abnormal hazards in your daily commute - extreme homemade curbing and speed bumps can be hard to negotiate - even on an angle. Everyone's daily route will be different and only you know your neighbourhood. ROW M030 ride height is about 10 to 20 mm lower, so about 1/2 inch from USA bumper height. It doesn't sound like much, but makes a big difference. Much lower than that and you'll need to become attentive.

I've recently got the OEM engine protection plate and really is not that robust IMO but something is better than nothing. And what the plate does is introduce a gradual curvature towards the front of engine pan as to provide a type of a "ramp" so objects can more gracefully slide under rather than hit the sharp 90 deg corner of the oil pan.
