Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Okay so I bought a 99' a while back. It had a Pioneer flat screen thing in it. I did get the original CD-R-220 and want to put it in. I just pulled out the Pioneer and mounting sleeve holding it. My question- do I need a mounting sleeve for the CDR-220 or can it go straight in the cavity in the dash? Thanks for the help....and no "cavity" jokes please!

The 220 does not use a sleeve. It just plugs right in. Easy Peasy. The 210 uses a sleeve.

POST 3Original post

You'll need to get a center console piece if the aftermarket is a double din. They are easy to find on eBay. The one in your car will be missing the center horizontal piece in order for the double din to have fit.
