Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I am reminded of one of the road test reprints of the 993 in the Brooklands books.

For example, if you are deliberately parking at the completely empty end of the supermarket car park that no-one ever uses anyway.

Point taken though - but there were 3 other disabled bays and I'd have moved if my car was preventing someone else rightfully using the bay.

Suggestion
You would be surprised at the bad looks we get when we park either in the porker or any other car in disabled bays when using the disabled cards as we are both under 35.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
18 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Probably. I got a parking ticket for having one wheel 1cm outside of a marked bay last year, and the model was written on the ticket as "Camera 4". So, even aging impotent envious jobsworth nobodies in a silly uniform can get it wrong too (not that I'm bitter about it or anything
)
My daughter Jessica, at the age of 5, came out with the immortal line:
"Daddy, do all proper cars have the engine at the back??"
I answered "Of course they do", after which she pottered off all the wiser.
Three years later she was delighted that we bought another proper car, this time a Smart! Simply priceless.
Among my eldest's first words were Rari and Gatti, after a visit to Prescott Hill Climb. This was shortly followed by the full length versions (Ferrari and Bugatti, since you ask....), and then Feporsche...

As has been said before, please dont park in disabled bays if you are not diabled. It doesnt help our PH cause and its frustrating for those who do need it.
...well, some of my friends think I may be slightly mentally disabled! Point taken though - but there were 3 other disabled bays and I'd have moved if my car was preventing someone else rightfully using the bay. But you're probably right - makes Porker drivers look bad.
It is frustrating and I sympathise as well. I try and park so i can keep an eye on my car. In the end I usually park in the middle of 2 spaces, so I dont get door bashes and as close as poss to where im at.
my wife has the blue disabled cards so im a bit more 'sensitive' so to speek to this issue. (Plus it anoys me no end that she wont let me use her cards whem im alone so I can get a nice big parkings space and keep an eye on it as well   )
You would be surprised at the bad looks we get when we park either in the porker or any other car in disabled bays when using the disabled cards as we are both under 35. People assume you have to be over 70 or have no legs (and poor)
good story though about the children
I never straddle bays, as it makes it look like you can't park
Fairest thing to do is park properly miles away from any other cars. Or just stuff a pillow down your jumper, get a wig on and nick a Mother and Baby space
In fact, far better not to take the Porsche. Buy a POS Escort or something (500 quid should do it), then bash into other people's car doors with impunity. Far more satisfying.

It's the only solution when there's so many numpties about. Wouldn't fancy having my (soon to be) pride scratched by some dumb bint in the supermarket carpark. Sod 'em!
It would be easy to be too judgemental here. Using more than one bay might be OK under some cicumstances. For example, if you are deliberately parking at the completely empty end of the supermarket car park that no-one ever uses anyway. Or, if there are 12 disabled spaces, all empty, and the car park is virtually empty because of the time of day, then taking the furthest one away for 5 minutes doesn't make you public enemy number 1.
Personally I reckon that if you are absolutely 100% sure that you aren't incoveniencing anyone else, while at the same time guaranteeing that you don't get seven shades of sh1t knocked out of the doors, then everyone's a winner.
With regard to other people's perception of Porsche drivers, well the fact is they have probably already made up their mind. I am reminded of one of the road test reprints of the 993 in the Brooklands books. The writer said something along the lines of the car is so responsive that it begs you to drive it in a manner that other people might not like. But, since they already hate you just for driving it, why disappoint them further by not living up to their expectations
...the funniest comments sometimes.
I was eating in the Warner Village Park Royal KFC a few days ago, with my 996 Carrera 4 parked outside in a disabled spot (well, I have to keep an eye on it!!).
Anyway - a couple of children were eating with their parents (boy about 10, girl 8 maybe) and looking over at my car with great interest and discussing something amongst themselves at length.
After about 10 minutes, they pluck up the courage to go outside to look over the car, obviously having a bit of a debate.
When they come back in, the boy tells his sister "see, told you it was a Aston Martin Camera 4".
Time for Porsche to change it's fonts maybe?
