Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I would suggest going with the sport headers unless you are using the car as a track car only.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Looked a bit on the forum but couldn't really find the answer i was looking for. I have a 2006 Cayman S with fabspeed Race exhaust, stock headers. I wanted to see if anyone happens to have the full race exhaust (Longtube race headers) as well and how it sounds in comparison. I love that its loud and wouldn't mind it a tad bit louder. Best, Jerry

POST 2Original post

Hi Jerry, My car is a 2013 Boxster S with PSE, so a different car, though can tell you I just installed Soul Performance race headers and left the stock PSE muffler system in. Change to race headers definitely is louder, in a most glorious way. With PSE "off" can't tell much difference (good), though with PSE "on" it is a bit louder. After 4K it really gets loud and sounds absolutely amazing. Love it.

POST 4Original post

Josh, did you notice any change in torque or hp?

POST 5Original post

Jerry, If you have the Supercup, adding catless headers will make the car VERY loud as you will have minimal drone fighting provisions within the exhaust at that point. I've heard that combination in person, it's pretty aggressive. That said, if you are interested in a set of race headers, we'd be happy to take care of you! -Mike S

POST 6Original post

Hey Jerry, Phil from Fabspeed here. Great to hear that you are happy with the Supercup Race Exhaust. I would love to talk to you about the Race Headers. I would suggest going with the sport headers unless you are using the car as a track car only. The straight pipes will be a very aggressive system. Do not get me wrong it is an amazing sound but it is very aggressive. There will be no sneaking around town when you have the straight pipes. The sport headers will help take the edge off and keep the drone to a minimum while giving you 93% free flowing cat's and you will not have a CEL.
