Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Just checked the 997 Turbo brochure, it is the same shift knob, will they put alu look in a over $100K car?

One more to go; we might be able to order the 1st batch tomorrow?
No, this is not the Short Shift Kit, it is just the shift knob & boot, purely cosmetic. The knob is different than the stock CS with more interesting alu insert.
You are correct that the prices are a lot higher with other P knobs, Ric from Suncoast found this one in the P catalog with a GREAT price & offered it on-line.
Just checked the 997 Turbo brochure, it is the same shift knob, will they put alu look in a over $100K car?
As the price of this P knob is so low that he cannot drop it below the $200.00
mark. So far there is only 4 confirmed, if it goes to 8 or 9 confirmed, i will ask again. As there is a long lead time (3-4 weeks from Germany). I would like to order asap.
Congrats to all that have confirmed their order, we reached the minimum of 5 in less than 1 day! Well done. I have PM you with instructions to contact Suncoast in regards to payment & shipping. Ric is expecting either a call or e-mail. (For today, it's better to e-mail, as he is the only one in the parts dept, thus might be a bit of a wait.)
To re-cap, we have 2 black leather, 2 stone grey & 1 cocoa.
This group buy is still open to all until June 30th. As i will be away on holidays from Sunday, June 24 - Sunday July 1st, i might not be able to check the post on a regular basis, but will certainly follow up with it upon my return.
Thanks again.
For those who wants to check out the Turbo Knob, go to your nearest P dealer & look at the new 997 Turbo, that's the same one.

I ordered this morning with Rick @ Suncoast, the usual procedure is they take our credit card number, when part arrive & ready to ship, then they will charge your card. As with alu-look or aluminum, my opinion is that it is aluminum, it is the same material as our stock CS shifter, except a different design. This knob retails for over $300.00, we are getting a GREAT deal on it. If you like this 997 Turbo design, it is a wonderful upgrade.
For all the members that haven't ordered but are interested in the Turbo Shift Knob. This Group Buy is open till June 30th 2007. There is still lots of time to think & consider.
There were none shown at Suncoast's site, only option is color to match your interior. But a call to Ric @ Suncoast (parts dept) may help the tip gang
