Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Leading evidence: 'Use aftermarket parts' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace seats' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. Eventually I want to replace my seats with GT3 seats and I'll need a roll bar in the car.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi Guys,
Just curious. If there were categories of or specific modifications you would desire for your car, what might they be?
Exhaust?
ECU Mods?
Body Kits?
Suspension?
Engine?
What?
I'm curious as to what the majority concensus reveals might be the most desireable modifications to develop and try to bring to you folks?
Availably of C/F.
More Carbon-Fiber availably for your company as too fabricate those Vents & Wings that you’re offering. Which by all means is not your fault but an industry wide problem

:burnout:
1 - Properly engineered bolt-in roll bar that meets PCA/POC spec
2 - Leather race seat (6 pt compatible) that can retain the side airbags
3 - Power steering fluid cooler
4 - Cure for the oil ingestion problem
5 - Method for obtaining more negative camber in a stock suspended car w/o using plates, springs, or machining
6 - Track only bra that can be stretched all the way up the hood and does not mar the finish (neoprene?)
7 - Device that will allow the car to be jacked from the center rear
Real engineering used for all aftermarket parts.
OK, it is a bit of a wish list, but you asked
Please offer an X51 3.8 swap for 2.7 5 speed cars.
I want someone to provide a tuning program for bone stock 2.7 Caymans.
If you are going to end up with an X51 3.8, coilovers, new exhaust, etc why start with a 3.4?
I know that the CS came out first, but buying a 2.7 for less than $50k and turning it into a GTR type car just makes sense to me. 6 speed? Who cares. Bigger brakes? Slap them on.
I just saw the Capristo video that Ken made. It is BEAUTIFUL. I would like an exhaust system that sounds just like that, minus the valves. I'd rather not have to pay for valves I'm not gonna use. I can't get over the open sounds...
because you are covered under warranty. 4 yrs in my case. so blow an engine on the track from a mis-shift ? cylinders lose compression because ingested too much engine oil from high g bends? no problemos. but i won`t be able to live with the torque of a 2.7 for 4 yrs. not even for 1 mth. after warranty period, no holds barr: 3.8x51 + stroker kit (if available then) + turbocharger + aquamist and aggressively advanced ignition timing + nos 75 wetshots. and, sell the 3.4 to a base 987 or 986 owner for some spare change. but that`s just me. if you intend to swap right away, then yes go for the 2.7
WOW! How refreshing (and smart) to ask enthusiasts what they want rather than just making stuff and hoping it is a hit. I don't know if this is your area of expertice, but I drive on a lot of dark roads. While my bi-xenons are bright, I always though it would be nice to get some ralley style driving lights in the front hollow of my non-tip car. Something like this: (ooo) . This may cause a wind noise headache, I don't know. MAybe a mesh piece couls be incorporated to act as a valence around the lamps to mitigate this...I was looking around on the Hella site, but I don't know what kind of mounting points are available behind the bumper, etc.
I'd like to see a mild wing. (I know, you've already made a carbon fiber one, but I'm talking something different). To me, the TechArt wing is just a bit too much, and the stock isn't enough. I'd like to see a wing that is in between. I love the way the GT3 RS Wing looks, but think that might be too large for a Cayman. Maybe, a smaller verson of the GT3 RS one that would be proportionate to the Cayman?
I would also like the X51 kit adapted to the 3.4, or a comparable kit (intake manifold, cams, etc.) that would yeild a very good performance gain without boosting the stock engine.
I like the roll bar idea and a different wing. I like the size of the techart top wing but I can't stand the base that it sits upon. Eventually I want to replace my seats with GT3 seats and I'll need a roll bar in the car.
Now that would be
really
cool! I don't track my cars (that's what motorcycles are for
) but I do find myself on dark back roads from time to time and more light would be helpful . . . . and it would look good too.
