Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

when i was parking the car, i notices this new noise. but it only happens when i turn the car full lock to the left, both forward and backward. it happens when the car moves, then dies away. what could be causing this, and how to fix it ? i did hit a rather nasty pot hole the day before this new noise surfaced

POST 2Original post

My BMW 325 had the same problem. I think it's a problem with the differentials. It's pretty easy to fix, and the average repair shop or dealership should be able to have it done for you.

POST 3Original post

I'd love to see more on this and if it is the diff. I just noticed this last night making a U-turn on a busy road.

POST 4Original post

Can you identify where the noise is coming from? After I hit a pickup with my BMW , and sent it to a repairshop for repairs, there were no more noises when I made a hard turn. I only saw on the repair bill item for damaged exterior panelings and lights, so I assume that fixing this problem was easy and they just did it along with everything else.
