Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Planet-9: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

3 months ago my Boxster S 2005 got hit in the passenger side front, radiator and condenser leaked and passenger headlight replaced. everything was installed without a problem, but when we started the car, cluster showed new error "failure oil level indicator" the car was not driven for 3 months because of the body repair, any idea how to fix this problem? they checked the connector or leak but found nothing

POST 2Original post

Get the actual codes downloaded. They might be more specific then the high level code that shows on the panel. I don't know if they still put this info in the shop manuals or not. Used to be there would be simple checks you could perform with a DVM to check the sensors themselves. You'll have to find a dealer or someone with access. Or you could just change the sensor and hope. Don't know what they cost.
