Hey all, I’m in the process of buying an 08 CS with 76k miles that seems in good condition. While digging through its service records I found out that it had its block replaced for scoring at 38k in 2014. Should I worry or be grateful? What is the likelihood it could happen again, and should it affect the sales price? I’m wondering if it’s a once a problem always a problem with the engine, or going to have way better odds at it not happening again. Thanks for all the help!

I think the same rules apply regardless.
PPI and check for things no differently.
You could argue that motor has about 1/2 the mileage as the rest of the car.
If you are concerned with resale of the car due to the history, then walk. But I'm not thinking resale so much when I'm buying cars that are at or near their maximum depreciation. For obvious reason.
I would consider it a bonus. But as the previous poster said, I'd still get the PPI. If that's clear I'd be happy to have the fresher engine.

I believe your situation is a bonus. PPI is fine but I continue to believe that it's akin to home inspection in regards to what is later identified. Additionally, with the work you list, the PPI at least regarding the engine and clutch seems done. You need seat time to evaluate a vehicle's idiosyncrasies or hopefully lack thereof. In the case of looking for unreported body damage, a strong light and a few hours to look at the panel seams, for any overspray, unresolved filler scratches and other giveaways from multiple angles is a tip I was given by a class winning painter. There is no way that's being addressed in a PPI. I am a fan member of meticulous maintenance records, my own senses and indications of passion for the car by the P.O. Unless like my current car your vehicle was under factory warranty, everything else is a calculation and leap. I'm pretty confident I could show a potential buyer the garage and car and they would understand immediately what was going on there. I bought a Honda 500 four as my first bike used, when I got there he was cleaning the spokes with a toothbrush.... SOLD
Since it's almost 40,000 miles since the engine replacement any issues with the replacement "block" would have shown up by now. It's unlikely they just replaced the block - typically a block comes as a short block (all the interior bits installed but no heads, pully's, etc.) or a long block which comes with the heads and valve gear installed. I would hazard a guess that Porsche supplied a short block, and the heads may have been disassembled, cleaned, inspected, and reused. If you're really concerned - I'd try to track down the work order on the replacement. The parts list should tell the story.
The image you've given with a listing of other work done, including the clutch - when was this done? I would wonder why the cylinder head gaskets were replaced.
Yes, you’re correct. Short block was replaced and the clutch etc were done at the same time.
