Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi all,
ive just done a few mods today to my c4s and very happy with the results.
Added a pair of gen. turbo s exhaust tips.
Fitted a gen. 997 airbox ,removed the resonator from inside, fitted it with a bmc filter, alloy stopper and the blue induction hose.
Sounds fantastic above 3k revs.
ill try and get some pics up.cheers mark
Looks very nice.
I had considered the 997 airbox mod, but decided as I don't see it (and when I do it would only make the rest of my car look old) that I would leave it.
Still looks nice.
Yes mate,
was a straight swap, looks much better [smoother lines and nice chrome badge] than org. airbox.
Make sure that you fit the 3.6 box as the 3.8 has an additional valve in it which may need blocking off and it also says 3.8 which is not right.cheers mark
The (cosmetic) alloy cap is supplied with the pipe and just friction fits in the neck of the HHR. As there is neither pressure inside nor out, it stays in place.

The DesignTek kit does not include HHR deletion (as FabSpeed did).
FabSpeed kits included a screw in HHR dummy neck/sealing plug when eliminating the HHR. This seals the airbox and a red outer (cosmetic) cap is placed outside.

Hi
I really like the subtle modifications you've done - very important to retain the cars original character.
One question though - where did the red "S" come from - I've been thinking of doing the same for some time now.
Really like the airbox look, but not a massive fan of the red 'S'. To me, it's like a throwback to the days when everybody wanted a red ford badge!!
like the blue induction hose too! :thumb:
what was the cost of the kit from DT?
Hi there,
just took off the s and painted it red, just to be different seen a few of the us guys have theirs done so i copied.
I got a fantastic deal through ebay for the bmc filter, alloy stopper and the induction hose but i think they are about £150 for the lot.
It does sound awesome.cheers mark
