Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Is this normal for 911 C2's or do you think I need to change any other components.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've just bought a 2001 C2 911-996 model. I am looking to have the 10mm lower Sports Suspension Kit fitted to it and new Anti Roll Bar Drop Links as the suspension makes a creeking noise when it goes over bumps and I'm told this drop link is the cause. I am lowering the suspension as I find the handling terrifying! on Islands it understeers and it feels really wooly in general. Is this normal for 911 C2's or do you think I need to change any other components. It just doesnt feel solid and well planted?

POST 2Original post

Call Chris at Center Gravity he's the absolute authority on Porsche set up. http://www.centergravity.co.uk/ Where ever you are in the country and however many weeks you have to wait to get booked in with Chris it will be worth it! :thumb:

POST 4Original post

First of all check your tyres for even wear 2 new and 2 worn can give bizarre handling characteristics.I picked my car up read and heeded that advice and all was well. Your creek will probably be the control arm bushes depending on the wear this could also be part of the issue. Drop links tend to rattle. If all this fails see the post above and take the car to COG I haven't been but he is,as mentioned good at what he does by all accounts.(see some posts on this forum) Let them find out what's wrong before you change any height or spring settings.

POST 5Original post

I've just booked in with Chris to get the car set up right seeing as I've changed a bunch of suspension components. He still has a few slots left for October.
