Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

You have changed the leverage compared to the standard gearlever throw.

If any tiny adjustment you can make doesn't cure it, you will have to change back to standard.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

OK, my car is already fitted with a quick shift kit. It's rifle bolt precise but my god is it heavy.
So heavy that I reckon it's a slower shift than my mates standard C4. Also I'm not sure the missus will be able to drive it (maybe not a bad thing) and if she does she'll end up with arms like Popeye..
I have no idea what quick shift it is either.
Can you loosen these things up or do I have to get a new one?
Any ideas guys?

You may be able to adjust it slightly, but effectively, by definition, that is what happens when you short-shift.
You have changed the leverage compared to the standard gearlever throw.
It's like trying to prise open a box with a screw-driver, rather than a jemmy (gorilla bar).
If any tiny adjustment you can make doesn't cure it, you will have to change back to standard.
I am sure you could do a fit/refit afternoon with another member who wants to swap their standard gear lever with yours.
PorscheShop sell (at least) three versions: one OEM with 20% reduction in throw, one with 25% and one with 35% reduction in throw. These will therefore, as a corollary, increase the effort required by 20/25/35%.

In the OEM brochure (Porsche Tequipment) it actually advises of their 20% throw reduction short-shift:
