Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

26 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Planet-9: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Any1 know any good custom faceplates (Ontario ones, with up to 8 characters) to put on a Cayman S ? At first, I wanted ' BMWho? '(BM... Who?) or ' M3cntcme '( M3 's cant see me) but I'm worried that some of the tens of thousands of bimmer drivers in Toronto might damage the car. So do you hav some other interesting plates (bit less offensive than my first thoughts, of course)

POST 2Original post

LIZRDMAN ! or LZRDKING! (also works for Jim Morrison fans) or here's a controversial one... 911BEATR /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/shades_smile.gif

POST 3Original post

The best plate going is 'WHQQSH' but already taken here in Hawaii. The 2 Q's look like eyes that just saw something pass at warp speed! Aloha RUss Edited by - RussK on 11/01/2005 12:25:09 AM

POST 4Original post

Naturally my vanity plate says UBERMNCH. It's German for a German car, and refers to the Nietzscian concept that the Ubermensch is a person who doesn't take someone else's word for anything. He believes only in what he can see and prove for himself. There's also that 'will to power' thing of his. Seems like a good point of view for someone who's a driving enthusiast.

POST 5Original post

Hi Ubermnch, My last name is/was Von Kattengell, grandpa dropped the Von, but there is now way that is going on my plates. I just thought of one this morning. I currently have FNOMNL on my BMW, but my Cayman which is Cobalt Blue might just get, BLUG8R! What you think? Aloha Russ[

POST 6Original post

how about tis... ' cUl8rG8R ' (see you later, Gator) lol

POST 7Original post

I like it but we are only allowed 6 spaces. Can someone tell me how you put the little picture under your name on the left of your post?? Thank You, Russ

POST 8Original post

how unfortunate to hav only 6 spaces...we hav 8. And by the way, to get those pics, (called Avators) go to "My profile" (upper left of this page, under Control Panel) and click "Edit Avators"

POST 9Original post

Crazy, I did try to upload my pic and I made 49K, but it just said UPLOADING IN PROGRESS and never uploaded it? I will try again later. Thanks Russ

POST 10Original post

I guess it just doesn't want to take my personal avatar, the one from the list worked fine. Russ

POST 11Original post

I think I need to fix the directory permissions to allow uploads of personal avatars, I will check that tomorrow.

POST 12Original post

Russ - I like BLUG8R fine. Of course down here in the South, people may think you're a graduate of the University of Florida. We geteight letters in this state, so I get more degrees of freedom.

POST 13Original post

Anyone else want to share their Personalixzed plate? Thanks Russ

POST 14Original post

POST 16Original post

I already reserved BLUG8R (Cobalt Blue Cayman ) But I do feel very fortunate to be able to own a Cayman 4CHUN8 is available here in Hawaii. What to do? Aloha Russ

POST 17Original post

I'll be posting a photo of my plate in January when the DMV releases the plate, they want you to have the car you are going to put it on, for some reason. But, if I were selecting a plate today, I might try getting DNA 550 or DNA 904GT

POST 18Original post

Yes I was surprised that they let me reserve and pay for mine without a vehicle. I can't pick them up, but got them locked in for $25. I sure wish we could use more than 6 digits! Most of you can use 7 or 8 and that opens up a whole slew of possibilities. Aloha Russ

POST 19Original post

XLRG8R (acceler-gator, play on accelerator and gator...get it?) OK, not so great, just first thing that popped into my head

POST 20Original post

Mark, I kind of like it, at any rate all ideas are good ones! I keep thinking if something better comes to mind I can always just cancel and pay another $25. Aloha Russ

POST 22Original post

New Mexico plates are yellow with orange. Not to complimentary with most car colors (unless you are K-man-S/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/teeth_smile.gif)
