Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Car A http://www.silverstoneauctions.com/2011-porsche-99... Car B http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/p... Look near identical cars with similar mileage (Cheaper car has slightly less) car B is 20 grand more money. This gt3 market has gone mad!

POST 2Original post

Surely there's nothing really surprising about this? Car at auction is sold for less than a car dealer is advertising a car at? You'd be a pretty terrible car dealer if you were trying to sell things at their auction prices, how would you ever make money? Of course some really special things achieve big prices at auction, as the auction itself creates huge hype around the car, but the 997RS isn't quite THAT special yet... especially not in LHD form.

POST 3Original post

Didnt they sell for the same price? Is the auction price pre 15 pc fees? Also it was not in great condition, if it matters, the front, including at least the bonnet had been painted. And no ceramics.

POST 4Original post

As mentioned, don't forget the fee on the auction car.....

POST 5Original post

No that price is inclusive of fees , I bought at the same auction ...... fair number of Porsches sold .

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Looks like the rush is slowing down, as this seems to of sold for realistic money on the day .

POST 7Original post

Is the market slowing down ? ......... I thought the same but there is absolutely nothing around of any worthy note with the RS badge . Winter softening ? Everything been snapped up and squirrelled away ? ...... Spring 2015 will reveal all.
