Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

27 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Took mine out this morning, first time since early November. I have reconnected with this amazing machine. Much, rightly, is made of the noise, that life affirming V10 howling with no inertia up the rev range. But, if it could howl too, the chassis and steering would make just as much an impression. The feel through the thin leather steering wheel as the car responds to your every single little command, immediately and with absolute precision, is totally unique and imo unmatched in a road car. The new Michelin pilot SS's have moved the game on and you can lean on the sublime chassis with so much confidence. The floor hinged ally pedals are perfect and you get addicted to blipping it down the box. I could drive this all day (sadly, other commitments mean I can't today). Roll on more sunny weather!

POST 3Original post

Looks superb. Roll on the better weather as you say.

POST 4Original post

Lovely car in a fairly rare colour? Roll on Summer.

POST 7Original post

Andrew you are so lucky to have such a fantastic car. A dream would be to go in one let alone own one. Automotive perfection, enjoy it for all of us

POST 8Original post

Fantastic looking car. How do you choose what to take out with a fleet like yours at your disposal? :-)

Or was it the Gallardo lp560 ? Or maybe the TVR Chimera KWIM ?

Have you ever driven/been driven in a Lexus Lfa OP? I wonder how the German n/a V10 compares to the Japanese one.

Legend - probably the best Porsche ever, and does not look like a beefed up Beetle. 918 will find it a hard act to follow.

POST 13Original post

Fabulous car, in red too! The engines are beautiful things and the sound is orgasmic! Not surprising as they were designed for Formula 1!

Definitely agreed on the above, nothing other than the cgt i think has that feeling of precision that i have driven. Interesting to note the 07 plate though, i thought all cars were built by mid 2006!

I remember getting over taken at the 'Ring a few years ago by a yellow one on full chat...

POST 19Original post

I remember a few years ago cycling to work and having a silver one slide round a corner on the lock stops, then absolutely belt it past me (he was going in the opposite direction) - Instantly fell in love with them!

AndrewD said: No problem! Lovely car Andrew ; stunning . As I have never / probably will never , get to drive one - can you please let me know how the ergonomics of the seating position / gear stick works - I only mention this as the gear stick looks really high up in the shot that you posted ? Cheers Edited by RSVP911 on Tuesday 3rd March 22:50

Edited by RSVP911 on Tuesday 3rd March 22:50 The high mounted gearstick is very natural to use despite the somewhat unusual position and the position is spot on, really like it to be honest vs the more conventional ones. The seats I find a bit upright though when driving for a long-ish time, a bit more incline would be nice but Reading have mentioned no adjustment for that is possible unfortunately.
