Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Car is running a bit warm 84 (NA manual) and was wondering whether anyone had managed to find a decent source of radiators in Australia. It seems to be Ebay Chinese at $265 or $1200 locally made.

POST 2Original post

If you haven't already, make sure your thermostat is genuine Porsche. They have a bigger orifice. Sometime people replace them with aftermarket generic and this causes problems. Then make sure your fans are coming on. The fan switch is in the radiator. Check fans are running at the proper speed. When they die they sometimes run slowly.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks, I'm looking to upgrade the fan, the current one is cable tied in and looks a bit tatty. Just like to know my options before I start pulling things apart. Thanks for the heads up on the thermostat.

POST 4Original post

I'd contact Buchanan's Automotive in Sydney, they'll be able to point you in the right direction. @Buchanan Automotive

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

This is sorted as its not the radiator, thanks for the feedback.
