Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello All, Hoping someone can sprinkle some wisdom.  I need to get some sacrificial interior fitment clips for my 944S2 sunroof interior panel.  PET has them as 477 871 053 (clip). I assume that they'll be available through PCB (I have sent them a message) however I though they may also be available somewhere else at a better price or more easily available (ie the same part as found in a VW or the like). any thoughts??

POST 2Original post

Repco and Supercheap sell a variety of trim clips.  None identical but maybe something close enough to get it reassembled. Ebay's another possibility too.

POST 3Original post

Try Burson Auto Parts, Thats where I found my trim clips......

I just had a quote for clips to hold the rear reflector panel.  The lower five are $5 each, the top five are $35 EACH ! I was told about this place today. Southern Cross Auto Clips www.scaclips.com.au 0425274897

Wurth also have a range of clips and fasteners

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for all the info.  Next time I will definitely look at the aftermarket options.  It is bullshit what Porsche charge for these clips at $3.00 each.

I stupidly ordered them from Porsche & paid $3 each.  In my defense I ordered them before most of these replies came back.  Next time......next time........

How good is this site.

There is also  The  Zippy Tie Man. Saw the display in his van and has a lot more than what’s on the website. They stock the factory style hose clamps in stainless steel and they are made in Germany.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
