This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi all, want to pick your brains, ive got a 2003 model c4s and im thinking about putting on a turbo deck lid and spoiler,is this a straight forward swap, mine has the turbo body [wide] and just want to make sure before i go ahead and buy one.anyone who has done this please let me know.cheers mark

POST 2Original post

Can't remember who but someone on the forum did exactly that and recommended others shouldn't attempt it unless they were prepared to take out the rear screen in the process as well. afaik, it's not a straight forward swap and involves some very trickery pokery to get it perfect. ~ Maxie :dont know:

POST 3Original post

As a turbo owner who followed a 996 C4S for some miles recently i wouldnt change it. The wide bodied rear never looks better than in its simplest form - yours.

POST 5Original post

Agree with earlier post the c4s boot is much better than the turbo, its because of the turbos boot and ugly side intakes that I wont buy one. I much prefer the look of the C4S. I would like the turbo engine though.Mike
