So: can anyone tell me if I can replace the clip or replace the o-rings?

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Good day all! I've spent a while searching this and found similar issues but no resolution. 2002 Boxster. The fuel line maintains pressure at all times. There are two quick connect clips on top of the tank/sending unit (under the battery tray) One of these is always pressurized and leaks fuel into the well of the fuel tank's sending unit cover, resulting in fuel odor at all times. So: can anyone tell me if I can replace the clip or replace the o-rings? Can I replace the line itself if the clip is permanently attached and if so where can I find a diagram? My Bentley manual is inadequate for this. Thanks for your help

POST 2Original post

I'd dig the o ring out and find a replacement for it.
