These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi. I searched this board but found very little info on this topic. Please forgive if my efforts were insufficient. Has anyone setup LED foot well lights tapping into wiring under the dash instead of running the wires from the map light? Thank you.

POST 2Original post

Have a look at http://986forum.com/forums/show-tell-gallery/48761-pimp-my-ride.html Imo this one is one of my favorite LED mod along with member Particlewave's interior/dash LED retrofit. These guys would be able to advise you on the tapping thing. Would below, the location of the LEDs, be a sufficient light output to fill the footwell? I think this is a great mod... added safety included, nobody is going to run over him when hew gets out of his car. brilliant!

POST 4Original post

I hooked them into the curtisey light cuircit as it comes into the car from the door * particlewave came up with the idea *

Nice work. You thinking about trying the motion detection pw has in his cubby holes? That's a sweet mod.
