Today I went to get it ready for the season fully expecting the battery to be completely dead and having to use the fuse box jump to gain access to my bonnet to boost the battery.

I've had my Cayman parked since November. Today I went to get it ready for the season fully expecting the battery to be completely dead and having to use the fuse box jump to gain access to my bonnet to boost the battery. What I wasn't expecting was a dead door as well. I tried manually unlocking the door but it won't open. The key seems to catch as I turn it in the door, but as I lift the handle, nothing happens. The door won't open. Please help with any suggestions.
