Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

4.2 V8, auto/Tipper, my mate Rolfy got this CAYENNE S through an Auction site, it has had a ding in the front and it may have done a U boat impersonation at some stage. There was nothing at all with the car to cast any light of it's previous life. The distinctive stripes may jog someones memory, and the NURBURGRING badges also a bit different... I'd be surprised if someone hasn't seen this thing around. It's probably going to end up as a 4 WHEELER RAT ROD..... Thanks

Wasn`t that the one that was stolen from a seedy brothel by a disgruntled crossdresser ?

POST 3Original post

I did not steal it and I wasn't disgruntled.

Does that make you a gruntled cross dresser ? (not that there is anything wrong with that)

POST 7Original post

Is it on the "Write Off" register? May be able to track some history down through the VIN. Going for a swim is usually an insurance stocktake wrinkle.

Thanks ZELRIK,  believe it has been written off, but can be re registered after a diligent inspection, if that makes sense???? Thanks for that thought, I will get him to make a phone call to whoever it is that holds that information, I'm guessing VICROADS.. Then if it is VICROADS, I'm guessing they won't let much out,. (.but I'm being a bit cynical there) but worth a try.

POST 9Original post

Suggest he searched the PPSR as I'm pretty sure this is where such stuff is recorded now, rather than state based...   make sure he uses www.ppsr.gov.au rather than anything with .com in the URL
