Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

BTW, I was heartened to learn that the C4S problem was related to the power steering fluid and not engine or transmission.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I noticed on the C4S grounded post that a respondent was adding Ruf pedals and aluminum guages. I am considering the aluminum guage change on my '02 C4S and would appreciate any information those with experience could offer. BTW, I was heartened to learn that the C4S problem was related to the power steering fluid and not engine or transmission. After 1400 miles my C4S still seems bulletproof.

POST 2Original post

I added the aluminum gauge faces from TechArt. They look great and do that turning to black at night trick. The down side is at dusk when the backlight is not really enough to overcome the ambient light left, the gauges are hard to read. And the turn single's green is just a bit too close to the silver for it to really stand out. I have more than once gone down the road looking like a total moron with my blinker going for who knows how long.
