Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Hi everyone, finally got my hands on a base cayman . However, I currently have problem with the CDR24 . I cant tune radio stations beyond FM 90.0 . Is there any way I can reset the CDR24 ? Any help is greatly appreciated guys

POST 2Original post

What is the normal range of FM frequencies in Singapore? I'm wondering if maybe you got a radio programmed for a different market with a lower FM band . . .

POST 3Original post

Normal FM band is 88 MHz (give or take) to 108 MHz (give or take). Pretty much the same world wide. Sounds like a CDR24 problem.

POST 4Original post

Pull the fuse, keep the fuse out for at least 10 seconds, Start the car, then turn off and replace fuse. This should reset the system. If that doesn't work, it's time for a trip to the dealer. Let us know what happens!

POST 5Original post

And know that even when it "works" the CDR24 is probably the worst excuse for an FM tuner I've seen in a production car in a LONG time. Part of it is the crappy antenna, but even using the same antenna pretty much any aftermarket unit will pick up stations a LOT better. Heck, mine used to like to float between two stations...94.7 and 96.1. You could tune to either one, but it would flip flop on its own between each of them at random times. Those are NOT very close together and no other radio I've ever seen has done that on those stations in this area. --Donnie

POST 6Original post

I had the same problem today. It stuck at one radio station, volume control, cd button, eject button, nothing works. Pull the fuse, I think it is the D9 one, start the car for 10 seconds, turn it off, replace the fuse and it works like a charm.

POST 7Original post

Take it to the dealer and they can reprogram the radio. I could not get 87.7 on my radio and they reprogrammed it to get that frequency. If they say they can't do it. Just let me know and I'll get you the correct info.
