Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Hey, I posted this back in May, but got no responses... "When my iPhone is paired with my non-bose 09 cayman thru bluetooth and someone calls in, the ring sound is REALLY REALLY LOUD! I can't seem to find a way to adjust the volume of that ring. It doesn't seem to be related at all to the volume level of the radio, etc. Anyone else notice this...or have a fix for it?" Anyone? Bueller??? Thanks!

POST 3Original post

Cannot answer or help with that because my car is on order however i had that same problem in one of my other cars with bluetooth. It about makes you jump out of your seat when it rings. My radio volume helps some but not 100%. I opted out for BT this time around for that reason and because people on the other end seem to complain all of the time about road noise and echo and more. blah blah blah... Hope CrocNV thread above helped. Good luck!

POST 4Original post

Thanks for the suggestion. I turned the input volume all the way down, but haven't tested it with an incoming ring yet. Will let you know....
