Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I currently drive a 99 996C2. I have an 02 C4S on order with an early July build. Has anyone heard if there are any significant changes to the 03 model? I could change to an August build car 03 MY. I just looked at the first C4S to arrive in Vancouver Canada, an artic silver on black. Stunning. I read somewhere that Porsche were looking at increasing the power of the C4S to position it between it and the Turbo "in the future" If its going to happen with the 03MY then I'll wait..... but then the V8 911 might be around the corner...what to do?

POST 2Original post

I would wait for the 03 instead of a late 2002 build. Tell your dealer to move you to the top of the 03 C4S wait list asap. 2001 C4FDR

POST 3Original post

Assuming your 99 will keep you happy for 1+ years, I'd roll the dice and reserve an 04

POST 4Original post

I would definitely wait to you see on whether Porsche will increase engine output on the c4s. I love the look but darn its hard to dish the dough when engine is the same as the narrow body sibling. Another thing is mine which are pluses though if esthetics/suspension is the main factor then go for it. Great car!! I have a '99 and love the darn thing. It has to be radical enough for me to switch over to a new Porsche. Regards. Mike

POST 5Original post

No official changes will be made to the 2003 C4S. The only difference will be your car will be a year older than the ones made just a couple of months after it. This seems to matter only in North America where we care what "model year" we have. In Europe, it is not like that at all. Good Luck.
