Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Generation: 20261026T203514Z · outcome-qualification-6. Deterministic extraction; no AI model inference. How we use sources

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ok, so i'm On the home run with the car now. Re-fitting the lights , drivers side slots in and locks fine Offside, slots in but just wont lock in place. I've had numerous 996's and 986's and i've Always managed to get the lights in and out The offside one just wont play ball Any tips or tricks I can use to finally lock it in ? Thanks Mark

POST 2Original post

Check the arm of the tray the plug fits on. They can crack and twist so won't plug in properly and hence won't seat fully home. Refitted mine and nothing worked, finally noticed arm completely snapped off so seated but not plugged in at all. Otherwise are you turning the tool the correct direction to lock the headlight in¿ Mine was certainly a pig to get the passenger side in Vs the drivers
