Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

27 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Outcome without a verified action link

I'm still not a fan of black wheels but this is an interesting and unique mod.

Night shots FTL....but from what i can see they look good. What wheels are those?

POST 3Original post

Can't really tell from the pics but I think those are OEM 18" CS wheels painted. Looks nice. Probably looks even better in the daytime. -Moto

POST 4Original post

nice...how much did it run you? I got a friend of mine that does top notch paint work out of his garage and will be painting my Carrera Sports all black and charging me $160 for all four. $200 if i want them any color with a different color lip

POST 5Original post

the white lip is an interesting variation...must look cool at night when you're moving- just a white ring!!! post some day pix when you can!!!

POST 7Original post

Response What a beautifully planned/executed modification to an already beautiful vehicle sapple89 . Well done! Now that you’ve tempted my appetite, would you mind posting an additional photograph or two please? Thank you.

POST 8Original post

I'm still not a fan of black wheels but this is an interesting and unique mod.

POST 10Original post

Looks nice, but would love to see them in the daytime.

POST 11Original post

Not a big fan of black painted wheels, however I have to admit it does compliment the white cayman nicely

POST 12Original post

Must not look to ggod in the daylight , where's the daytime shots? We all want to see them.

POST 13Original post

I put some light on his pics to see the wheels better

POST 14Original post

I really, really like this mod. Not a huge fan of non-OEM wheels so I think jazzing up the stockers is a great idea. Wouldn't work on every color but looks stunning on the white car.

POST 15Original post

I'm with scott, not a huge fan of non-OEM wheels. Looks good sapple, how did you come up with that idea? On a side note, I can't believe how much wheel well space is left with the 18". Never noticed until now!!!

POST 16Original post

I love it! You gave me a great idea for doing these in blue!

POST 17Original post

Here is the other pic with more light http://www.planet-9.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2883&stc=1&d=1186677758

POST 20Original post

Response They look even better in the daytime sapple89 ! Once again, thank you for sharing your photographs with us. By chance, what did the process entail? What did they do with your vehicle while the work was being performed? Well done! You definitely have your hands on a one of a kind modification.

POST 21Original post

Those wheels are really well done. In the night shots you couldn't even tell they were the OEM 18" wheels. Where did you get these painted?

POST 22Original post

Definitely much better in the daytime. Nicely done... -Moto

POST 23Original post

Would one of you Photoshop masters post a pic of those with a red lip???

POST 25Original post

The daytime photos do a better job of showing off the full effect of the black accented wheels on the white CS. Looks sharp! (Especially with the tinted windows) Now you need to do black fog light spears and the black intake vents.
