deMort - absolutely I thought about cutting the wiring harness and using other connectors but was hoping I could keep it original if possible (although fitting a fixed spoiler is kind of breaking all of that!)

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi everyone Maybe an obvious question but does anyone know what type of plug the spoiler 3rd light uses and where to get another one? I have a fixed spoiler going on to the car and need to extend the 3rd brake light to an OEM fixed spoiler wiring harness (the light came with a wire) and would rather do it with the original connector if possible Many thanks!

POST 2Original post

Even OPC cant seem to get wiring plugs ... but it is worth a try , chances are they wont be interested in working for such a cheap item .. but if you dont ask .. Anyways .. can you not use the plug from the old spoiler .. or cut and extend the wires ? link here for a non Porsche alternative , a site i use is carbuildersoulutions .. wide range of stuff there . https://www.autosparks.co.uk/electr...-connector-complete-with-terminals-seals.html https://www.carbuildersolutions.com/uk/

POST 4Original post

There's a chance I might be able to lay my hands on one of these at work. I'll have a look tomorrow and let you know if I have any luck.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks everyone - very much appreciated on the responses :thumb: Looking at rdodger's link they very much look like these Econoseal connectors http://www.polevolt.co.uk/acatalog/...-female-with-terms---seals.-ESC2F.html#SID=57 Steve B - very kind offer there and if you happen to find one spare male connector on your travels that would be perfect and very happy to sort out for the help! deMort - absolutely I thought about cutting the wiring harness and using other connectors but was hoping I could keep it original if possible (although fitting a fixed spoiler is kind of breaking all of that!) Thanks again Alex

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post
