Seems that you can use the factory alignment or go for something a bit more agressive.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi there and good day!!! I am interested in this set up both performancewise on the track and esthetics as well. I welcome comments by anyone who had installed the euro m030 suspension and are you pleased with the results. My car is basically a daily driver so I'm wondering how firm is the ride. Would there be a problem riding over bumps or driveways? Also if i plan to have it installed what other things I may need to know other then the installation itself. Are there other things I need to do as well during/after install. I welcome Viken's comment since he's a mainstay for information on Rennlist. I emailed Gert already so I'm awaiting his answer. Thanks in advance. Mike
996FLT6,
I just installed the ROW 030 on my '00 C2. You cannot go wrong with this setup. Installation could be done, if you have the proper tools. Ride height is lowered about 5/8" - 3/4", not a problem over bumps or driveways. I purchased my kit from Gert, and the service was outstanding.
Good luck,
Scott
Let me second that sentiment. Have just gotten the ROW M030 kit on the car. Looks much better the turn in is fabulous and the ride is improved if anything. Seems that you can use the factory alignment or go for something a bit more agressive. Either way, I am really pleased
Let me chime in. I had always been skeptical of changing anything in my car. After much (1 year) deliberation, I got the sport suspension from Gert. Yes I am very happy. Exceedingly happy. The ride is not teeth jarring. Corners a lot flatter, less weight transfer, very street friendly, great for drivers' ed, etc.... I am in love with my car all over again. I would not dare do the swap myself. Have a mechanic do it. One thing I've noticed, and it might just be my car, is that the squeaks and creaks from the body, windshield, etc, tend to be louder and more noticable since I did the swap. I think my car is doing that because everything is stiffer in the suspension and because my car was an early 98 build. But if I had to do it all over again, I'd get it from Gert. Get it?
I agree with the above. The ride is not bad at all and the handling is great. The lowering is tastfully subtle. Can't wait until DE this weekend!
I bought mine from Andial. <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />
I guess we all agree. I ordered my 996 with the Euro030 on it because I tried the regular 996 suspension and was to decaf. for my view of a 911.
On top of it I ordered with the Aerokit along with the 030 (lots of high speed drivinand looks awsome) and the front end can be a little tricky on some garages but nothing you cant get around. I wouldnt have it any other way. Interestingly, one of the places I always rub the front lip with the ground is on the entrance to the Porsche dealership garage shop
.
I had a E36-M3 with MK Motorsport suspensions... now that was a rough ride.
