I am now looking to change cars again and I am drawn to another Boxster 'S'.

I enjoyed my previous Boxster S, and quite fancy a return to mid-engined motoring for a spell, and change of cabin to the 987 (the 986 and 996 cabin being mostly the same).

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Afternoon all
Just a quick post - I sold my Boxster S to buy a 996 Turbo cab, which has been a blast for a year. I am now looking to change cars again and I am drawn to another Boxster 'S'.
If anyone is interested in a swap in the opposite direction, drop me a line.
Cheers
Jon
Hi Jon
I'd be happy to swap my 986 Boxster S for your 996 Turbo Cab, we will need extra seats in the New Year
Boxster S is so much fun to drive :thumb:
A fair question, and not the last from the rear-engined crowd I suspect!
I tend to swap cars fairly frequently, some might call me fickle. I enjoyed my previous Boxster S, and quite fancy a return to mid-engined motoring for a spell, and change of cabin to the 987 (the 986 and 996 cabin being mostly the same).
No doubt a return to 911 will be forthcoming, but at the moment I can't decide which direction after the turbo, certainly for excitement's sake.
Perhaps why I am already eyeing a 993 Turbo....
I suspect you are right - always miss something. I missed the 'S' engine note at 3,000 revs as soon as I sold it.
Right now though, the only kick in the butt I am getting is from the mrs to provide her more cash for her Manolo Blahnik collection.
Which is sub-consciously probably much of the motivation for selling...
:worship: Thank you for the correction, I was close but no banana. Not a site I have frequented before
Agree totally about missing the kick in the butt. Still makes me smile after 4 years with this one.
