Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

I was just about to leave work and when I stepped on the clutch to start the car, I heard a small "snap" noise from behind the clutch. I think the switch behind it just broke. I just had this just replaced over the weekend so I'm annoyed that it broke already. Anyway, is there a way to bypass the switch so I can start the car? Thanks.

POST 2Original post

You can tie wrap the switch closed so you don't have to press the clutch in to start the car. I did my BS that way some I could start it without getting in.
