I noticed in the repair manual it says the car must not be in the reduced driving program, if that's the case then how am I supposed to check the fluid level then?

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Could someone tell me if i can still check the tiptronic fluid level while the car is in the "reduced driving program" (4 and D are flashing) by removing the plug at the bottom of the pan and seeing if the fluid begins to drip out? I noticed in the repair manual it says the car must not be in the reduced driving program, if that's the case then how am I supposed to check the fluid level then?

POST 3Original post

Have the reason why the Tip is in the reduced driving mode id'd and fixed. That the fluid level can't be checked in this mode suggests that low fluid level is not a common reason for the Tip to enter this mode.
