Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Ok...here goes: 2007 Cayman base 32k miles. Tiptronic. In "auto mode", not mannual mode, car enters 5th doing about 55-60mph, it seems as though the car is "stuck" rpm needle is about 3000 when I accelerate hard ("step on it") rpm's speed up and then it (sometimes) will "downshift" to 4th without me touching it. It's almost as though the car is "stuck" at about 3500 rpm (engine seems to be pulling harder). Otherwise "shifts" and "downshifts" are normal.... No check engine, nothing else. If I can get video will post...any thoughts or am I being too OCD thanks
