Aylesbury is probably a bit far considering I plan to do four trips to the dyno in order to measure the effect of each part of my exhaust/CAI.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Can anyone reccomend a dyno shop in the East Midlands area that is familiar with strapping down a 996 properly? Cheers.

POST 2Original post

Is Aylesbury any use? (OK, so it's not strictly East Midlands) The firm that used to be called G-Force have a 1200 bhp rolling road and used to have a Le Mans GT1 on there, so I suspect they know what they're doing! Can't remember what they're called now, but they watch this forum so might be along in a minute!

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Wattie, Aylesbury is probably a bit far considering I plan to do four trips to the dyno in order to measure the effect of each part of my exhaust/CAI. I did some ringing around yesterday and came up with Corten Miller in Boston (about an hour from me). So the car is booked in for Friday morning where I will do the baseline run and then baseline plus CAI. Then I can start my exhaust install and go back and do the rest.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I ended up getting some runs done today with the Corten Miller workshop near Boston in Lincs. It was a very good setup and compared favourably with other dyno establishments I have been to in the US and Australia. The car was well secured, the facility was modern (dyno dynamics) and the staff were experienced and friendly. All good. Dyno results have been posted in the garage section of the forum.
