Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I have changed the bulbs and checked the fuses but still no fix.

Hi Adam make sure that the whole headlamp unit is pushed all the way back and secured, the bulb contacts sometimes dont quite connect, this seems likely in your case, bearing in mind you have checked the bulbs and fuses next thin failing this is to check if you have current at the connectors .Mike

Every time I took mine in ond out I got a slightly diffrent problem so it sounds like it could be, check the connector that the light mates with and see if it flexes at all, on mine the bracket had broken where the yellow clip snaps in, all it took to fix was a small cable tie to hold the yellow clip in place.

To add to what Mike said, check the connector in the wing.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

I have contacted my OPC and they say thebracket is going to cost £85, if I was to upgrade my lights using a HID kit from 911 design for £119 would fitting the ballasts mean I didnt have to use the connector bracket thus working arround my problem but getting me upgraded lights?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi Guys
Hope you can help, I have had my C4 Cab for a week now and have just noticed that the front left fog and main beam lights don't work
. I have changed the bulbs and checked the fuses but still no fix. Is this a common fault, is there something I should look at or is a warranty job?
Thanks Adam

Thanks Guys, I had a close look this morning and the support that holds the connector has broken so it is not engaging properly, with bit of playing I have managed to get all bar the main beam working. I have a laser engraver so hopefully I will beable to make a new bracket when I get to work on Monday.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
Adam
Good stuff, however if it's under warranty why not just take it back and get them to replace the part for you, rather than messing around fabricating parts yourself? Would that not be easier?
Pointless you spending time and effort on it if you have a warranty I would say...? :thumb:
Not to sure if this will be covered under the warranty, but I guess it only takes a phone call and if not for a fiver a new bracket will make a lot more sense, do you know a good OPC to contact.
Most of them will pop small parts in the post if you give them a call. Would Dick Lovett at Swindon be closest to you? If not, give OPC Reading a call. Their trade parts depot is just down the road, so if they haven't got it in stock it will be delivered to them same or next day.

No.
Assuming the HIDs can be wired into the loom prior to dodgy connector, the HIDs are only the main lamp (either dipped, full or both), wouldn't solve the other connection dropouts.
looks like I have the same issue with mine - took mine for a spin tonight and when accelerating the light goes off (fog as well), When pressing down on the bottom tip of the light cover..... hey presto they come on...... but when I accelerate I'm plunged into darkness again! Is this definitley the bracket then?
